The founder of Marimekko Armi Ratia once asked how you can be a personality if you have no personality. One stands little risk of correction when one says that Marimekko has always been a company that stirs a lot of emotion. The years have been filled with stories, incredible successes and experiments on which there could no doubt be many opinions. In 2011 Marimekko celebrated its 60's anniversary.

MARIMEKKO’S SUMMER 2012 CLOTHING COLLECTION
Gentle summer breeze welcomes us to a new morning. The city is waking up; the marketplace buzzes with life. The stalls are filled with fresh berries, and the sound of clogs carries over the warm concrete. On the way to the ice cream stand, we stop to admire the dandelions and make garlands.
