Menswear Spring 2013: ORANGE COUNTRY
In the BOSS Orange Men’s Collection for Spring 2013, beach life meets city style: Welcome to Orange Country!
Vintage looks featuring innovative fabrics and an eye to detail define central themes. The 1980s, surfing and summer festivals on the California coast inspire tees with unusual retro prints. Colorful cotton blazers and shorts showing abstract flowers set the tone. Indigo checks are a must for shirts.
The collection highlights include a nylon windbreaker worn over a casual shirt, and a cognac-colored bomber jacket with a striped hem paired with short orange chinos and a cool V-neck knit sweater. A wide-collared sweat jacket in vivid green and a field jacket over a washed tee are other eye-catchers this coming spring.
Denim is tough, masculine and clean. Colored chinos in new washed editions complete the BOSS Orange look.
The palette covers black, blue, gray heather, beige and mulberry along with a range of greens. Injections of calypso pink and orange add accents.
Bright blue weekender bags in rugged linen with nubuk leather appliqués join scarves, cool sneakers and used-look leather ankle boots to round out the collection to perfection.

Womenswear Spring 2013: MEDITERRANEAN BAZAAR
The BOSS Orange Women’s Collection for Spring 2013 draws its inspiration from the vivid colors and unique patternry of the Orient – discovered at the bazaars of Marrakech. Casual combinations create an urban look, infusing the spring collection with fresh energy and an upbeat vibe.
Tweed-look jackets with contrast leather trim pair nice and easy with tough denims sporting hand-sewn patches. A micro-design in blue and yellow is just the thing for a silk, bomber-style jacket and a dress with smocking details. The shapes are clean but feminine.
The collection highlights include tunics with gold piping or printed necklaces, and a watercolor-look print that echoes on tops, blouses and a floor-length dress. The colorplay is unique in every piece, making each special and one-of-a-kind.
Unusual patterns inspired by Moroccan mosaics work a treat for slim dresses and big- zip jackets. A sand-colored jacket adorned with extravagant embroidery on front and back pairs perfectly with frayed, sun-bleached blue denims and a tank top. Loose-knit multicolored sweaters and jackets are stylish matches for both evening gowns and delicate silk blouses. Degradé jeans and skirts join dresses and tops in colored lace as additional attention-getters this coming spring.
The palette too paints the Mediterranean mood – in combinations of saffron orange, navy, fresh Atlantic blue, and citrus yellow with sand and white.
Leather accessories round out this inspired collection and include oversized hobo bags adorned with colorful leather ties, ankle boots and gladiator sandals with gold studs.
