« Architecture, Une Histoire De Famille »

The summer collection of Aleksandra Wisniewska is a tribute to the architecture tradition in her family. Growing up between sheets, pens, rulers and protractors, already as a small girl, Wisniewska created her first drafts on the drawing board to their parents.

In her latest collection, she combines geometric shapes, uses different volumes and materials, and still preserves skillfully her own style. The collection compels through its intensive work with different fabrics and materials. Wisniewska processes plasticized, glossy, transparent, structured, hard and soft materials and, for the first time, creates an own print, consisting of motifs from architectural plans. Important inspirations are elements of modern architecture, as well as the human as their creator. The color palette consists of soft white, beige, pink and flesh tones, and is complemented with a hard black. The collection is elegant, feminine and has as always a touch of extravagance, the way we are used to from Aleksandra Wisniewska.
